He served a modern apprenticeship at Bettys and Rudding Park before going on to work in some of England's finest Michelin-starred restaurants. After three years in London Tom went on to work in Sydney and New York before returning home to his Yorkshire roots.</p> <p>Tom is the only chef in Harrogate to have been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for the standard of his food as the Head Chef of Hotel du Vin.</p> <p>Now with the support of his highly skilled team and backing from old employer David Moore, VAN ZELLER is tipped to become the premier dining destination in and around Harrogate.</p> <p>David Moore is the founding director of double Michelin starred Pied a Terre and 'Inspector' on Raymond Blanc's BBC2 programme 'The Restaurant'. He has known Tom since 1997 and now has a keen interest in Tom van Zeller and his exciting new restaurant.</p>
